This begins with a consultancy period to understand your organisation's environmental objectives, from which we can source a range of potential projects to fulfil your criteria or match you with our current portfolio. We source projects based on desired geography, ecosystem type, scale and return expectations.

We take the time and effort to understand the context of each potential project which requires in-depth knowledge of local ecology, socio-economic dynamics and governance (both local and national).

We use the following to source projects:

• Trusted partners in relevant geographies who understand Tellus’ modus operandi and can make connections with relevant local partners.

• Trusted ecologists to detail the potential for ecosystem restoration.

• Remote sensing technology to confirm the potential for a nature-based project.

We then use an in-depth onboarding process to ascertain if the project meets the standard and criteria to make a world class nature-based protection and restoration project.
